Traveling on your own boat offers many rewarding opportunities along with some hair-raising experiences when you wonder why you ever got into boating. On our travels, we have come across both instances, but we are happy to say, the good times far out-number the bad ones. Being able to set your own traveling pace, and dropping the hook at some secluded (or not so secluded) places and view the world from the perspective of a sea-gull appeals to many people.

In this section, we will expose some of the anchorages we have found to be of particular interest to us, both because of their beauty and location. Some things we always look for in an anchorage is good holding, protection from both wind and waves and in many cases proximity to areas where we can get down from the boat and go exploring.
